There is / There are

استخدم "there is" للقول إن شيئًا موجود أو لوصف اسم مفرد أو اسم غير معدود. استخدم "there are" للأسماء الجمع. في الأسئلة، اقلب الفاعل والفعل: "Is there...?"

استخدم "there are" مع الأسماء الجمع

نصيحة

الفعل "is" أو "are" يتوافق مع الاسم الذي يليه، لا مع "there". لذا استمع إلى ما يأتي بعد: "There IS a dog" (مفرد) مقابل "There ARE dogs" (جمع).
